The Hyundai i20 is loaded with many safety features. The top 3 variants include 6 airbags & ABS. The smart pedal system (in the event of panic braking, the brake pedal overrides the accelerator) however, is available only on the petrol variants. Also, speed sensing auto door locking is available only on the top-of-the-line variant.

The other features include automatic temperature control with heater, AC vents with shut off option (front), power steering - electronic, clutch footrest, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering, glove box cooling and rear defogger with timer.

Power & Performance

The power house of Chevrolet Beat Diesel is a 936 cc Smartech engine which is designed to have a turbocharger and a vacuum operated waste gate. The engine is built to be torquier and this force is delivered at lower rpm levels. The torquier engine performs smoothly on steep roads in the presence of electronic throttle and electronic clutch switch. The power and torque ratings of this fuel efficient engine are 57 bhp at 4000 rpm and 150 Nm at 1750 rpm respectively. The five speed manual transmission of Chevrolet Beat Diesel has quick gear ratios which lets the car pass through city roads swiftly.

The suspension system comprises of McPherson Strut with Anti roll bar and Compound Crank type units at front and rear respectively. These units are supported by gas shock absorbers which are designed for a sporty drive. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel gets larger tubeless tyres which provide better on road grip.

Power & Performance

The Audi A6 is available in a choice of five engines comprising 3.0-litre TFSI, 2.8-litre FSI, 3.0-litre TDI, 2.0-litre TDI and 2.7-litre TDI. Three of the five engines are the same as the existing Audi A6 model but the 3.2-litre FSI is replaced by the high performance 3.0-litre TFSI engine that provides a combination of dynamic performance and low fuel consumption.

The 3.0-litre TDI produces 229 bhp, 2.8-litre V6 petrol engine generates 207 bhp, 2.7-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine churns out 177 bhp,2.0-litre produces 174.3 bhp and the advanced supercharged 3.0-litre FSI engine generates an awesome power output of 296 bhp. The supercharger used in the high performance engine is a Roots-style unit with twin four-vane rotors positioned entirely between the cylinder banks.

TFSI is a turbocharged fuel stratified injection engine is the latest advancement in engine technology. It uses a high pressure direct injection pump that ensures injection of fuel directly into the combustion chamber through electronically controlled injection valves. This innovation in engine technology is aimed at allowing higher compression ratios and more efficient fuel intake. This in turn helps deliver high performance and low fuel consumption.

The Audi A6 like the old A6 is fitted with an efficient six-speed automatic transmission. It also comprises the Quattro four-wheel drive that ensures improved traction and dynamic driving style by variably distributing the drive forces to both front and rear wheels through mechanical center differential.

Audi has also improved the suspension of the new A6 to increase the level of comfort and handling. The electronically adapted air suspension with adjustable damping automatically adapts the suspension according to driving situation.
